The Steinberg UR44 USB Audio Interface is the ultimate portable audio interface providing audio ins/outs, MIDI in/out, four microphone preamps, onboard DSP, iPad connectivity and includes a free download of Cubase AI, making this a well rounded package.
The UR44 is capable of up to 24-bit and 192kHz of audio recording quality and has four Yamaha Class-A D-Pre microphone preamps, delivering pristine audio. The four preamp inputs can be found on the front of the unit in the form of combo XLR/TRS ports, which means a 1” jack can also be used with them. On the back of the unit can be found two line inputs, four line outputs, two main outputs, MIDI in/out and USB port.
The UR44 offers latency-free monitoring with effects is available with the included dspMixFx software, and VST3 versions of the onboard DSP plug-ins are also available like Sweet Spot Morphing Channel Strip, REV-X reverb and Guitar Amp Classics. Cubase AI is included with this package, which is built upon the same core technologies as Cubase, offering composing, recording, editing and mixing capabilities. Customers will be pleased to know that the UR44 offers iPad connectivity.
