The Yamaha RGX-A2 electric guitar is a marvel of modern technology and not just for the cool looking LED lights either.
The proprietary A.I.R. construction body of the Yamaha RGX-A2 offers a 3 ‘sound tube’ bridge design that allows the entire internal interior area to vibrate while the surrounding harder wood material prevents the sound from escaping. These intensified internal vibrations are then efficiently communicated to the pickups by the solid wood Falkata wood core (a very light weight wood similar to Balsawood that is very environmentally friendly) and this core is covered by Agathis.
Useful on a darkened stage is the LED lit cylindrical diecast pickup selector knob (blue and green for the bridge and neck respectively) and this combined with the diecast cylindrical (barrel) tuners, makes the RGX-A2 stand out from any other solid body guitar! Yamaha Alnico soapbar pickups make this guitar sing with sounds that can range from subtle classic to all out modern grinding tones.
Overall the result of the RGX-A2’s design is stunning looks, a fat meaty output, an extremely durable finish, light weight and a surprisingly affordable price too! The RGX-A2 is available in the White/Aircraft Grey finish only.
