Both the TubeDrive and SpectraComp sections of the TC Electronic SpectraDrive are TonePrint ready. Now, using the free TonePrint app on your smartphone, you can beam presets from featured artists and fellow users right to your pedal. Bluetooth and wireless networking are NOT required. Just download presets to your mobile device, play the TonePrint from your phone into your pickups, and like that, your SpectraDrive is ready to roll with fresh inspiration. A USB connection is also included for those who like to dive deep into the settings.
Powerful i/o
Another part of what sets the SpectraDrive apart from the competition is its powerful i/o. The configurable, transformer-balanced XLR output and 1/4" Thru output, in addition to a standard 1/4" in and out, give bassists plenty of options for performing and recording. With the SpectraDrive, you can:
- Send a dry signal to FOH while using SpectraDrive into your amp (XLR Pre mode)
- Run SpectraDrive straight into a PA without the need for an amp (XLR Post mode)
- Send an independent 1/4" signal to a tuner, FX processor, or amp (Thru output)
- Run SpectraComp as a traditional pedal into any available line- or instrument-level input (1/4" in/out, XLR Post Inst/Line)
