The Revolution XT 6 makes use of Tannoy's famous Dual Concentric drive units. TRAPEZOID CABINET WITH UNIQUE PLINTH PORT

The first is that it effectively mass-loads the speaker cabinet, acting as a vibration damping and stable base. Secondly, it offers a precisely measured and ideally surfaced base from which the downward-firing bass port can work against. With a choice of Espresso Dark Walnut or Medium Oak, real wood veneers, the XT 6 is equal in finish to many more expensive speakers. Indeed, the hand-treated veneers are finished to the same exacting standards that Tannoy demands of its premium models and world-renowned Prestige series. Tannoy's typical attention to detail also extends to magnetic grille attachments, an etched trim ring and even 'Tannoy' branded bolt heads.
