The Tannoy Eclipse centre speaker delivers crystal clear dialogue thanks to its twin 4 inch multi-fibre coated pulp paper cone drivers and 1.1 inch polyester-dome HF. The Eclipse Centre is voice matched acoustically to the rest of the Eclipse range.

With the grille removed, the high tech 8-point driver fixings are revealed and the driver trim complements other Eclipse models visually. While the dark-weave grille ensures a perfect 'black-out' look in a full Eclipse home cinema systems.

Despite its entry level price, the 32 Hz upper frequency extension ensures that the Eclipse Centre is capable of providing fantastic performance with High Resolution multichannel audio while its 67 Hz bass response is well-matched for typical AV receiver bass management systems.

Cabinet:
Tannoy's proven heavyweight fibreboard cabinet design is employed in the Eclipse series. Internally braced to minimise cabinet colouration, they can deliver tighter, more tuneful bass. The cabinets are also rear ported to assist deep bass reproduction and keep the front baffle's clean lines.

Woofer:
The low frequency drivers have been developed with a light, stiff multi-fibre cone with nitrile rubber surround for superb transient attack and bass punch. eight bolts on the mid/bass drivers to along with DMT to ensure optimal cabinet to driver integration.

Tweeter:
The high efficiency neodymium magnets on the high frequency driver extend frequency response to 32 kHz, for smooth and detailed treble from the 1.1" coated silk dome tweeter.

Crossover:
Eclipse crossovers include laminated core inductors for exceptional musical detailing. Tannoy's unique differential materials technology compound is used to damp micro vibrations on the polypropylene capacitors, further enhancing Eclipse's musicality and communication.
