With onboard filters for spicing slices individually and two automatic detection modes, as well as manual marker editing, HALion 5 provides a robust, one-stop-shop for reworking your samples.
Updated FlexPhraser opens up vast sonic horizons
HALion's powerful FlexPhraser now features a new user mode that opens up vast sonic horizons. A new user phrase editor lets you create your own patterns and phrases, setting velocity and pitch for sounds in up to 32 steps, while leveraging the additional power of two controller lanes to drive even more parameters such as filters and effects. You can import MIDI files to quantize the arpeggiator to an existing groove, and export phrases to Cubase as MIDI files for further editing.
Two new MIDI modules, and Trigger Pad
HALion 5's two new MIDI modules give you powerful new tools to construct and play arrangements and drum tracks directly within the program. With HALion's MIDI Player, you can load up to eight MIDI files into dedicated slots that can you edit and trigger remotely using the Trigger Pad feature. Trigger Pad can also be used to drive the new Drum Player, which boasts a step sequencer designed expressly for driving drum beats and rhythm tracks within HALion 5.
