Dial in everything from massive, exciting drum sounds to thick, rich vocal tones and big, fat bass tracks. Of course, the SSL bus compressor still sounds great on the mix bus too!
UPDATED CONTROLS
The SSL XLogic G Series Stereo Compressor utilizes the same iconic design as the original SL 4000 console, with a few new tweaks for added versatility.
The attack controls now offer six positions for a wider range of options. Choose from 0.1 ms, .3 ms, 1 ms, 3 ms, 10 ms, and 30 ms. Similarly, the release settings now include 0.1 sec, 0.3 sec, 0.6 sec, 1.2 sec and the dynamic AUTO setting.
Use the classic 2:1, 4:1 and 10:1 ratio settings to dial in everything from smooth, subtle compression to hyper-aggressive limiting. The original Auto Fade button can be used to smoothly fade out of a song for subtle outros.
The SSL XLogic G Series Stereo Compressor also includes a dedicated Side-Chain Input button, enabling advanced compression techniques like side-chain compression or 80s-style gated-reverbs.
