The Corsair is a luxurious semi-hollow that lives up to the bountiful name. Kitted out in premium silver pieces of hardware, the Corsair nails old school style with a slice of luxurious modern finish.
Construction
An all-maple archtop body and set maple neck is the wood combination of choice here. At a 24.75 scale length and with a flat 14-inch radius, the Corsair is easy an easy ship to handle. Hardware appointments include a Schecter-made trem bridge with a roller tune-o-matic for those wavy, warbling vibrato tones.
Sound
The Corsair is equipped with a pair of Schecter Diamond ’78 pickups. These humbuckers provide a mature, vintage style grunt that sound comfortable through overdrive and gain. They produce a smooth, medium output and react dynamic and lively to pick attack aided by the semi-hollow construction.
