The Roland CUBE Lite is a guitar practice amplifier with a built-in iOS device interface.
The Roland CUBE Lite offers a 2.1 speaker system, ideal for listening to recorded music, but it also features a full guitar amp with great controls and amp sounds.
The CUBE Lite is a table top unit featuring a guitar amp with three different channels - JC Clean, Crunch and Extreme. There are dedicated controls for Drive, Volume, Bass and Treble, as well as stereo Chorus and Reverb effects featuring Boss' COSM technology. The amp sounds are taken from Roland's critically acclaimed CUBE series and the 2.1 speaker system reproduces the amp sounds with great clarity and balance.
There are many guitar amps that feature line inputs for MP3 and CD players, however these never sound particularly great played through a speaker designed for a guitar amp. The CUBE Lite provides the best of both worlds, with the 2.1 system offering a great stereo image, and the included sub adds the all important bass is so often missing from small idocks.
The CUBE Lite is designed to work alongside the free CUBEJAM iOS app, which features backing tracks to play along to, as well as recording and sharing capabilities. Of course, the CUBE Lite's built in line input can also be used to play your device's music collection also.
