The Washburn Parallaxe PXS20FRTBB features a set neck with a full access cutaway. The full access cutaway allows completely unrestricted access up to the last fret. Your fretting hand will be able to play all over the neck without having to change position and the Super Jumbo Frets allow more precise and faster playing.
The Washburn Parallaxe PXS20FRTBB is equipped with an Original Floyd Rose tremolo system. The Original Floyd Rose is made of hardended steel that delivers better sustain and resonance. Not content there Washburn loaded the Parallaxe PXS20FRTBB with an oversized brass block. The block is a critical part that affects the overall tone more than any other component in the guitar. The brass block increases sustain and resonance, making the guitar sound fuller and more alive, even when unplugged. The Parallaxe PXS20FRTBB is also loaded with spring silencers to mechanically mute the tremolo springs, preventing any unwanted spring resonance.
The Washburn PXS10FRDLXWB is loaded with a Seymour Duncan Jazz neck pickup and a Seymour Duncan JB bridge pickup. This guitar is designed for rock and metal and the pickups were selected to deliver that tone right out of the box. The Series/Parallel switch for each pickup gives maximum tonal versatility, but still without the hum.
The Buzz Feiten Tuning System is a tempered tuning formula, which uses a compensated nut and saddle to correct the inherent intonation problems of the Western tuning formula. The system that Buzz devised has been a godsend to guitarists. Fans of the system include Eddie Van Halen, Steve Vai, Joe Satriani, Liona Boyd and Andy Summers. The Buzz Feiten Tuning System is standard on all USA made Washburn guitars and basses and is featured on select imported models.
