The Neve 8816 summing mixer combines the class-leading electronics from the famous 88R analog console with comprehensive input, mixing and monitoring features to provide DAW users with unparalleled sound quality and versatility. Each of the 8816’s 16 input channels include level, pan, cut and cue controls for added flexibility. And with a +15 dB gain range, 8816 accommodates professional and consumer audio gear. Use the two track buss to chain multiple 8816 modules together for even more connectivity.
FLEXIBLE MIXING OPTIONS
The 8816 summing mixer will breathe new life into your digital tracks with classic Neve transformer mixing topology. Process tracks with your favorite analog outboard gear using mix inserts with three modes to accommodate any mixing style. Stereo width controls make it easy to dial in the perfect stereo image. The post insert mix function is perfect for stem mixing and blending in special effects.
DIGITAL FEATURES
An optional digital output makes it easy to print mixes back into your DAW with class-leading converters capable of sample rates up to 192 kHz or DSD. Keep an eye on your levels using output PPM meters and overload LEDs. Quickly A/B mixes with push-button controls for monitoring Mix Out, 2 Track Return, Channels 1 & 2 and the front panel input min-jack. Easily adjust monitor level and mix level using independent controls, or toggle between Main and Alt speakers for quick comparisons. With a built-in cue output, talkback mic and headphone output, the 8816 can even be used for recording overdubs. And with total recall functionality, you can instantly recreate sessions with the push of a button.
