The iTrack Solo Lightning features a single Focusrite mic preamp and a high impedance instrument input for electric and bass guitars, making it an ideal and convenient recording solution for singer-songwriters, vocalists and musicians. Housed in a rugged aluminium chassis, the iTrack Solo not only sounds and looks great, but is robust enough for daily use at home or on the road.
The mic preamp utilises the same low-noise, low-distortion preamp found in the flagship Saffire 56 interface, ensuring a pristine quality signal path to get the most from your microphone. Phantom power is provided for condenser microphone applications, and both mic and instrument inputs can be used simultaneously if required. Halo signal indicators give visual feedback of the current input levels, giving instant indication of signal clipping and healthy signal levels.
Headphone and monitor speaker outputs are provided for monitoring purposes, controlled by a large front panel monitor dial. Direct monitoring of the input signals can be switched in to allow latency-free monitoring whilst recording.
A software suite is also included with the iTrack Solo: Ableton Live Lite – powerful recording and sequencing software allowing you to create and edit audio and MIDI recordings, and Focusrite’s Scarlett Plug-In Suite, providing effects essential to recording and mixing – Reverb, Compression, Gate and EQ.
