Product Description
The FBT Maxx 9s Passive Subwoofer features a lightweight, yet rugged Roto molded polypropylene cabinet.
The FBT Maxx 9s features a custom designed B&C 15” woofer with a 4" dual voice coil, neodymium
magnet structure and an aluminum die cast frame.
The internal crossover is at a fixed frequency of 125Hz. The Maxx 9s offers a frequency range of
40Hz -125Hz, providing floor shaking low frequency extension with a SPL of 128 dB. A front face steel grille
protects the woofer from external damage.
FBT’s ADAP® Advanced Dynamic Active Protection circuitry protects speaker/driver components against
failure.
The input panel features 2 x Neutrik Speakon NL 4 jacks.
The optional Box 103 mounting brackets allow the Maxx 9s subwoofer to be surface mounted on walls or
ceilings. A standard Top Mount 1? speaker stand socket allows satellite speakers, such as the FBT Maxx 2,
Maxx 4, Maxx 5 and Maxx 6 and others to placed above the subwoofer cab on an adjustable satellite
speaker pole mount, such as the FBT Box 50.
