All the features you need and none that you don't
The CMC2 was designed with ease-of-use in mind, so there are no unnecessary features to slow down your workflow. You get enough outputs for two sets of stereo studio monitors and a subwoofer, as well as intuitive Speaker Select buttons to toggle between them. Three inputs, two balanced and one unbalanced, accommodate up to three reference sources. You also get essential mix-checking facilities including polarity reversal, mono, dim, and mute. A built-in headphone amplifier with dedicated level control completes the package.
World-class design and construction
Drawmer didn't skimp on quality when they designed the CMC2. It utilizes the same low-noise transparent circuit design as its larger siblings, as well as a linear power supply with a low-hum toroidal transformer and an internal voltage selector switch. We're especially impressed by the CMC2's paralleled custom-quad pots. They not only exhibit a smooth feel, they also make channel matching a breeze. Add to that a rugged steel chassis and a stylish brushed aluminum cover, and you have a well-crafted, attractive piece of gear.
