The T5 is loaded with a 12AX7 front-end and an EL84 power stage. These provide the hand-crafted all tube amplifier with delicately balanced harmonics and natural tube compression, resulting in warm distortion and a vintage sounding break-up. The 12AX7 preamp tube provides everything from sweetly-purring blues to mind blowing crunch. The EL84 output tube was often used in British-style amplifiers and is known for its crisp and chiming tonal quality, when its being cranked to the max, and the T5 harnesses that power via the built-in power attenuator.
The T5 features Infinium Life Multiplier Technology which can extend the useable lifespan of the amplifiers tubes by up to 20 times. This not only saves you a huge amount of money, but ensures you tone sounds as fresh as when the tubes were new. How does it do this you may ask. Well, a revolutionary circuit continuously monitors the performance of each output tube and dynamically drives it towards the optimal operating point, making for an evenly distributed load. This technology also compensates the effects of aging and automatically adjusts levels to keep the tubes sounding as good as new. When it comes to replacing the tubes, a handy LED indicator illuminates next to the tube when it has reached the end of its lifespan.
T5 features high definition Reverb that's the cherry on top of your signature sound. It's controlled by the dedicated front panel knob, allowing you to go from a subtle hint to a huge, natural cavernous reverb. The built in power attenuator allows you to operate the T5 at your choice of 5 Watt, 1 Watt or even 0.1 of a Watt.
